Tyrone Productions is currently one of the leading producers in Ireland. The company was founded in 1987 by John McColgan and Moya Doherty, the team who went on to produce the stage show phenomenon Riverdance.
Tyrone Productions has developed an unrivalled reputation for vision, skill and professionalism and is synonymous with quality programming, working across a number of genres including drama, documentary, entertainment and client tailored corporate productions.
Programmes currently in production include: Ros na Rún – the long running TG4 Soap. Feith (working title) 8 x half hour young peoples drama for TG4, filmed in Belfast and due to go on air in January 2008, this is being co-produced with Eo Fis and Sterling Film and Television. Ireland’s Generation Game – a 3 part factual series written and presented by David McWilliams for RTÉ. Seoige and O’Shea – live daily daytime show presented by Grainne Seoige and Joe O’Shea. Master Apprentice – 6 part series following 6 young people as they set out in their chosen career in the hotel, hospitality and catering industry.
